Will BHK imitate talks?
The ruling coalition delegates have not decided the range of issues to discuss with the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK), member of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Vardan Bostanjyan told a press conference on July 13.
He says the agenda of negotiations may include different issues, starting from migration to home political developments.
For his part, Bostanjyan's opponent, HAK member Felix Khachatryan said that the talks will solely focus on organization and conduct of extraordinary elections.
"We want to eliminate the cause of the existing problems, i.e. to remove the illegitimate authorities who grossly rigged the elections," he said.
In response, the coalition representative made a "compliment" to the HAK leader who said at HAK's last rally that "the government and the opposition can present their agenda of talks."
Bostanjyan further noted that the coalition delegation is not authorized to take decisions. They will meet for discussions and later present vulnerable issues to the country's leadership.
In his recent interview with A1+, Bostanjyan excluded the possibility of a genuine dialogue saying, BHK will create an illusion of dialogue when asked to be engaged in talks with the opposition.
Asked whether the BHK is going to imitate the talks, Bostanjyan said on Wednesday, "Surely we shall do whatever we are assigned to do."
The ruling coalition will be represented at the talks by Davit Harutyunyan and Gagik Minasyan (Republican Party of Armenia), Naira Zohrabyan and Vardan Bostanjyan (Prosperous Armenia), Khachik Harutyunyan and Mher Shahgeldyan (Country of Law).
