Yerevan citizens are given the last chance to watch films at the Nairi Cinema.
"Today we have only one cinema but a festival enjoying great esteem worldwide," said film critic David Muradian.
He is hopeful that in the future Armenia will have a complex intended for festivals with large and comfortable rooms and halls.
Before the opening ceremony, reporters had a chance to talk to French actress Fanny Ardant, an honorary guest at the film festival. Two debut films directed by Ardant, "Cendres et sang" and "Chimeres absentes", will be screened at Moscow Cinema on July 11.
In reply to A1+'s question what is the most important thing in her life, the famous acrtress said, "As Édith Piaf would say "Without love we are nothing at all."
