A1+ presents new documents to Administrative Court
The Administrative Court of Armenia again adjourned the hearing of the claim of A1+ Company against the National Commission of Television and Radio (NCTR).
A1+'s Representative Alexander Sahakyan presented the court additional documents to substantiate the claim, following which the NCTR representative asked court for time to review the material.
A1+ is disputing the December 16, 2010 decision of the state regulator whereby A1+ was rejected a broadcasting license in another frequency tender administered by the NCTR after allegedly submitting fraudulent documents. The results of the process published by the NCTR showed A1+ trailing the operating TV channel, ArmNews.
Earlier, the court upheld A1+'s motion to involve ArmNews in the litigation as a 3rd party, however, the company's representatives do not attend court sessions.
"I think that ArmNews is not interested in the trial as the main dispute is between Meltex Ltd (founder of A1+) and NCTR," Alexander Sahakyan told A1+.
The lawyer says in its response ArmNews did not make any reference to A1+'s 7-8-page claim.
"The answer is not grounded and correctly formulated. I shall present my objections after receiving the parties' answers on the additional documents," he said.
Sahakyan notes that the NCTR did not properly study the package proposals of ArmNews, which speaks of the idleness and inactivity of the state regulator.
We hope the court will duly assess the documents presented by A1+'s representatives," he said.
Judge Argishti Ghazaryan again banned A1+ from filming the sitting.
