The Presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan will meet in Kazan today in an attempt to move closer to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Meanwhile, a group of young people will hold a round-the-clock sit-in outside the Armenian Foreign Ministry in protest against Armenia's pliable policy in the Karabakh issue. Patriotic songs will be performed near the Ministry all day long. The action was imitated by Hayazn Youth Unanimity.

"We are against concessions and we hope the Armenian leadership will hear our voice. They cannot cede the territories liberated by the blood of our heroes with a stroke of a pen," said Ani Sarukhanyan, a member of the unanimity.

"We are ready for war and peace. The U.S. officials clearly announced that Armenia should surrender the liberated territories and Azerbaijan should recognize Karabakh's independence," said Karabakh war veteran (freedom fighter) Shahe Achemyan.

"There is no other way to keep the territories than to start a war, though I am is categorically against military actions. In 1994 we forced our enemy to his knees but we did not behead him. Today he wants to sit on our shoulders," said Achemyan.

The protesters say they are ready to take drastic measures if the authorities ignore their demand.
