PACE summer session opens in Strasbourg
The summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) opens in Strasbourg at 2:30 Yerevan time.
The Armenian delegation headed by David Harutyunyan is in Strasbourg to participate in the PACE session. An address by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan (Wednesday 22) will be among highlights of the PACE plenary session.
Before departing for Strasbourg, Armenian delegate Zaruhi Postanjyan predicted activation of Azerbaijani and Turkish delegations who have already registered to address questions to the Armenian President.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Head of the Palestine Authority Mahmoud Abbas are also expected to deliver speeches.
PACE President Mevlüt Çavusoglu told a news conference on June 20 before the opening of the session.
