"Government must compensate"
Unlike other Thursdays, there were more people in front of the government building, and although no state official approached them, police officers did listen to them and especially the parents of deceased soldiers.
The parents of Tigran Ohanjyan, who was killed in 2007, and the investigator of Ohanjayan's case visited Kartchaghpyur where Tigran was supposedly electrocuted.
"For half an hour, they wanted to prove how Tigran touched the satellite wire and got electrocuted, but they weren't able to. They were even sure that the incident didn't take place there," Suren Ohanjanyan told "A1+".
Citizens against notary offices were also in front of the government building. The apartments that they had purchased were sold to several others, and now they have neither the money for their apartments nor a case against the notaries.
"We can prove that we have been left without homes because of the notaries' mistakes," said Narine Sageyan.
Former employees of the Gegharkunik regional center of the State Inspectorate for Food Safety and Quality were also at the government building, complaining that governor Grigor Grigoryan has capriciously made cadre changes after their organization was restructured.
For five years, 137 disabled pilots have been demanding compensation from the government. Out of the 137, 47 have died throughout the years. Aviation technician-brigadier Vanik Marinyan says years ago, he fell from the wing of a plane and underwent a head operation.
"The aviation company is obliged to pay compensation to those employees who have become disabled at the workplace. If the company has declared bankruptcy, the government is obliged to cover their compensation," added third-degree disabled, Vanik Marinyan.
