HAK will not allow authorities to expel Hatspanyan
Political prisoner Sargis Hatspanyan fears lest the authorities should expel him from the country after granting amnesty, the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) said in a statement.
HAK promises to apply all legal ansd political levers to thwart the authorities' plan and prevent the authorities from expatriating Hatspanyan.
«Sargis Hatspanyan ranks among the unique Armenians who entirely devoted himself to the protection of his homeland. With the same staunchness Hatspanyan carried his cross in custody, remaining faithful to his principles. Sargis Hatspanyan has earned the right to live in his homeland, and no can deprive him of the rights,» reads the HAK statement.
