One of Janvelyan’s sons released
The son and driver of Marat Janvelyan, owner of the Arzni-Kat Dairy Products Factory, have been released after giving cognizance not to leave the city.
The sons of the Armenian entrepreneur, Gegham Janvelyan and Armen Janvelyan, were detained on May 13 on charges of hooliganism (Article 258 of the Armenian Criminal Code).
On May 11, the brothers were involved in a scuffle with residents of Hatis village (Kotayk marz) that ended with a few warning gunshots into the air.
Three of the villagers, including the teacher of History, were taken to the local police station but they were freed later in the day.
Armen Janvelyan is still in custody.
