French Armenians to stage protest on May 4
The French Senate will consider the controversial bill criminalizing the Armenian Genocide denial on Wednesday, May 4. Today French Armenians will gather in front of the French Parliament to urge the Senate not to give in to Turkish pressure.
The bill was adopted on October 12, 2006. However it needs to be approved by the French Senate to be enacted into law.
