"I consider today's rally over," the participants of the march were discontent with this call made by Levon Zurabyan. They were already sitting comfortably on the stairs of the Opera House and were demanding a sitting strike.

"Politics is an art of intricate calculations. Today we took a step that we know will not be accepted by everyone gathered here. However, if we are taking this step, we know that it is calculated," said Zurabyan.

Zurabyan mentioned that though many say this was a retreat, there will not be efficiency of such a step in the history of our movement. Zurabyan bid the gathered farewell and assured that he would be sitting with them during the next rally.

The police have released a message stating that there were 6,000 people participating in the rally.

"The rally ended at 19:45 and was followed by a march through the central streets of Yerevan. There was an intrigue at the head of Nalbandyan Street on the part of participants, but police officers were able to prevent the intensification of the situation.

There were no special measures taken during the march.

The march continued to Opera Square," as stated in the message.
