Lords visit Karabakh
On April 20, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received a group of members of the UK Parliament headed by Baroness Caroline Cox, Vice-Speaker of the British House of Lords.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to bilateral relations, Karabakh conflict settlement, Artsakh's domestic policy as well as regional processes.
Bako Sahakyan thanked the guests for the unbiased presentation of Artsakh's position in Great Britain and Europe, and for their efforts towards the recognition of the 1915 Armenian Genocide recognition and human rights protection.
Both sides noted the necessity of developing and widening mutual relationship considering it important and demanded in all respects.
Deputy speaker of the Artsakh Parliament Arthur Tovmasyan and other officials were present at the meeting, the Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
