Swiss President completes her visit to Armenia
The Armenian President's residence hosted Friday an official farewell ceremony for Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey who has been on an official visit to Armenia.
Prior to the farewell ceremony, the Presidents met privately to sum up the results of the visit.
Sargsyan expressed the hope that the Swiss President's visit will contribute to strengthening of Armenian-Swiss relations. He noted that Micheline Calmy-Rey's first official visit, which focused on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, will boost reinforcement and development of relations in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Micheline Calmy-Rey expressed gratitude for warm reception saying the visit showed the countries' readiness to develop bilateral ties.
"Switzerland is a reliable partner and friendly country," Micheline Calmy-Rey said in conclusion.
