Levon Ter-Petrosyan informed the municipality
In his speech at Freedom Square, Levon Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that the struggle is everyone's struggle. He touched upon the 3 points that have been presented to the authorities, that is, the release of political prisoners; the revelation of the murders of March 1 and permission to hold rallies at Freedom Square.
Levon Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that on behalf of the 100,000 people gathered at the square, he would like to inform the municipality that the next rally will be held at Freedom Square on April 8. Levon Zurabyan added that if the municipality doesn't take notice of that, they will first gather near the Matenadaran and then determine their actions.
Levon Ter-Petrosyan noted that he will be addressing the gathered as "grandpa" since many people call him that and he is pleased.
He mentioned that the people are struggling as one for the fate of the homeland.
Wishing everyone a good night, Ter-Petrosyan announced that this was the first jubilation after March 1, 2008. Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that though he totally understands the rally participants' motivation and the great desire to struggle, according to him, nobody should act on his or her own and they must do whatever is accepted on behalf of the rally participants.
The rally participants submitted to Levon Ter-Petrosyan's call and left Freedom Square in peace with the hope of meeting there again on April 8.
