Armenian serviceman killed in ceasefire violation
An Armenian serviceman Grigor Shakhkanyan died Friday as a result of Azerbaijani firing at Karabakh positions, the press service of the NKR Defense Army reported.
On March 4, at 2:30pm, Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire in the north-eastern direction (Verin Chaylu) of the contact line between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces, killing private Shakhkanyan on the frontline.
This is the second border incident provoked by Azerbaijan over the past two days.
On March 3, another Armenian serviceman was wounded near Jraberd village as a result of a ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan.
