Relatives and friends of the nine political prisoners remaining in Armenian prisons after the tragic events of March 1, 2008, today staged another protest outside the Prosecutor General's Office.

Chanting "Free political prisoners," "Punish murderers," they handed another letter to the Prosecutor General knowing that their claims would be left unanswered.

"The ruling regime is at a loss. They are even afraid of boys who distribute flyers in the streets," said Melissa Brown, the wife of former Foreign Minister Alexander Arzumanyan.

Yesterday evening, about 20 plainclothes men attacked young activists of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) in Erebuni district when they were distributing flyers notifying about the opposition's upcoming rally.
HAK is holding a rally in the vicinity of the Matenadaran today, at 5:00p.m
