Coalition at the brink of breakup?
The relations between the Armenian coalition parties abruptly deteriorated after of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Leader was forced to sign the new coalition document on cooperation.
Under the document, the coalition forces shall support incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan at the next presidential elections.
According to our sources, Tsarukyan said that he had uttered his stance on the issue during the BHK congress [February 12] and was not going to become a customer.
A discord broke out amongst the coalition forces after the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) officially urged its junior coalition partners to formulate a common position on the 2013 presidential election to be contested by President Serzh Sarkisian.
