Ishkhanyan received no offer
Human rights activist Avetik Ishkhanyan has not been offered the position of the ombudsman. He does not expect the authorities to make such an offer.
Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan was appointed Representative of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights in Central Asia. Avetik Ishkhanyan is among the likely candidates for the position.
