Medals on occasion of Army Day
Serzh Sargsyan issued a decree on awarding RA Medals to soldiers of the RA Armed Forces and freedom fighters on the occasion of Army Day, as well as for showing courage and for making notable contributions to ensuring combativeness.
Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the soldiers and freedom fighters and handed the high state awards.
Sargsyan considered the people's faith in and respect toward the Armenian army as justified. Sargsyan also said receiving a high state award is great pride and expressed certainty that the soldiers' commanders, friends, parents and children also take pride in them.
