Azerbaijani-Armenians to appeal to Hague Court
Azerbaijani-Armenian refugees call on the leaders of all countries to not visit the square of the shahids in Azerbaijan.
According to them, those buried at the square-cemetery are not the people who died in the righteous fight for faith, but the assassins who perpetrated the Armenian pogroms in 1990, as well as the massacres of many Russians and Jews.
The Azerbaijani-Armenians resent the Azerbaijani authorities for trying to conceal their criminal past by presenting the square of shahids as a cemetery of those who died for freedom and independence. According to the official protocol, leaders of countries visiting Azerbaijan must visit this square, but the organizing committee of the assembly of authorized representatives of Armenian refugees from Soviet Azerbaijan considers this as intolerable.
They demand a worldwide investigation to reveal Azerbaijan's falsifications.
Meanwhile, head of the "Our home is Armenia" NGO Nikolay Babajanyan assures that the Russians buried at the square were killed by Azerbaijani assassins, but their identities and the reasons for their death are unknown.
That is why the organizing committee of the assembly of authorized representatives of Armenian refugees from Soviet Azerbaijan is going to demand the archives under Russia's control, which state that Azerbaijanis killed the Armenians and the Russians.
The organizing committee is preparing to lead the fight against Azerbaijan's falsifications until the Haaga Court and later reveal the events of Khojalu for the international community.
The first assembly of the authorized representatives of Armenian refugees from Soviet Azerbaijan will most probably take place in the liberated territories of Karabakh on February 28 with the participation of representatives, political parties and NGOs from Armenia and other countries.
