"There is a battle ahead"
Today at 14:00 the Administrative Court will hear "Meltex" LTD "A1+" TV Company's file against the National Commission on Television and Radio.
After the digitization tender and the release of the results, "A1+" demanded that the NCTR provide "A1+" with the copies of the tender proposals submitted by "ArmNews" and "Armenia" television companies. However, the Commission refused to provide them, saying that they are working on them and can only provide them after the 20th of January.
"We have facts showing that there are similarities and contradictions in both proposals and that is why we want to have the copies. We will copy them ourselves in order to not cause the NCTR any trouble. But it looks like there is a battle ahead," said "A1+" President Mesrop Movsesyan.
"A1+" has petitioned the Administrative Court to oblige the NCTR to fulfill the obligations reserved by the law and provide the copies of the tender proposals submitted by both television companies within the framework of ensuring transparency of the tender and equal conditions.
