“Hanrapetutyun” Party office burgled for the second time
Unknown people broke into the office of Hanrapetutyun (Republic) Party on the night of January 10.
In the morning Hanrapetutyun board member Artak Zeynalyan found the office in a mess. He was the last to leave the building on January 9.
"Everything was turned upside down. Drawers were ransacked, envelopes and letters torn to pieces," Artak Zeynalyan told A1+ adding that the burglars had entered through the window.
It is the second time the office has been burgled in a month.
"During the previous attack [December 13], the burglars were interested in computer data while this time they searched through the drawers and documents," said Mr. Zeynalyan linking the break-in to his socio-political activity.
"I am not going to surrender. I shall intensify my efforts and continue to work as actively as ever," said the human rights activist.
Note that law enforcement officers have found no fingerprints in the office.
