Heritage MP: “Society is still polarized”
Like other opposition parties, the Heritage parliamentary group could name any achievements in Armenia in the passing year.
"The only positive event was the suspension of Armenian-Turkish protocols though President Serzh Sargsyan had better withdraw Armenia's signature," said Heritage MP Armen Martirosyan.
On the whole, the party is displeased with the authorities.
"The authorities lacked bravery and courage to recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. They have been unable to solve social and economic problems. About 60-70 thousand people left Armenia, hundreds of entrepreneurs closed their factories and started a new business in Georgia," Armen Martirosyan told A1+.
"No measures have been taken to fill the gap between the authorities and the public. The society is deeply polarized. Unfortunately, our efforts to reconcile the sides found no feedback," said the Heritage MP.
