Political scientist: “Lithuania will not activate”
Lithuania will assume the OSCE chairmanship in January 2011.
"This will put new accents on the regulation of the Karabakh conflict. I do not think that Lithuania will deal with regulations of conflicts, as the country does not have a great role in the international arena. Lithuania will mainly focus on issues of media and democracy," political scientist Stepan Grigoryan told A1+.
Grigoryan notes that the statement on Nagorno-Karabakh adopted at the OSCE summit in Astana is advantageous to Azerbaijan but he does not hurry with predictions, as "concrete decisions are not taken in a day."
