BHK to have new MP
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) member Aragats Akhoyan will replace Arevik Petrosyan in parliament, BHK MP Naira Zohrabyan told A1+.
Aragats Akhoyan affiliated himself with the party in 2006. In 2009, he was elected member of Yerevan Elders' Council but he refused the mandate.
Talking to A1+, Akhoyan expressed his surprise over the party's decision saying he was preceded by five other people on the party list.
Asked how he is going to combine the work of a builder, businessman and deputy, he said, "A deputy cannot be engaged in business by law. I shall stay a builder in heart and contribute to the development and prosperity of my homeland."
