"Everything in Moscow and in the whole of Russia is under control. We'll punish all the hooligans, all of them," he said.

They threw firecrackers on the roadway, some clashed with the police. 65 people were detained as a result of disorders in downtown Moscow. Another 19 people were taken to hospital.
On the same day, another protest was staged in Saint Petersburg by football fans. The fans attacked drivers and passers-by, who had non-Slavic appearance.
On December 10, two Caucasian people killed Pavel Kazakov, another Spartak fan, near Volzhskaya metro station in Moscow.
