No incidents reported during opposition march

On December 10, the Armenian National Congress (HAK) held a march in downtown Yerevan on the occasion of Human Rights Day.

The march started from the Statue of Saryan and was led by HAK activists and senior representatives David Shahnazaryan, Aram Manukyan, Gagik Jhangiryan and many others.

The marchers called for the release of political prisoners and pointed to human rights violations in the country.

The marchers passed through Mashtots, Amiryan, Nalbandyan and Tumanyan streets chanting "Freedom," "Nikol," "Levon, President."

No incident was reported during the march.
