Minister must present timetable
The Armenian government has laid down the rules for proper drug production with the purpose of regulating the sphere of drug production.
It has been established that the certificate of production is granted by an organization that has adequate international accreditation and is competent to grant a certificate of licensing to implement expert examinations prescribed by the law on types of activities subject to licensing and a certificate of proper drug production.
The RA Minister of Health has been assigned to present a timetable for reforms in introducing rules for proper drug production in Armenia and the sphere of drug circulation, as well as take measures to have the "Expert Center of Medicine and Medical Technologies" CJSC of the RA Ministry of Health receive accreditation of international organizations through internationally accepted modes.
The decision will go into effect starting January 1, 2011. Those with drug production licensing are obliged to meet the requirements of the decision by January 1, 2012.
