RA Defense Minister receives conscripts
RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan today received students called up for military service. The conscripts asked different questions ranging from the recent incidents in the army to the Minister's private life.
The minister assured them that cases of violence in the army have decreased.
"Non-desirable phenomena have always been reported in the army. Simply, public awareness has reached a higher level thanks to the efforts and transparent work of army administration. There are and will be incidents in the armed forces but we are working to reduce their number," said Seyran Ohanyan.
"Since conscripts are male representatives, some interpersonal conflicts arise between officers and soldiers during the service. Most of them are caused by servicemen who fail to meet their obligations, thus leading to new violations," said the minister.
One of the students expressed concern over the bellicose statements of Azerbaijani president.
We can resist the enemy with our fighting capacity and military spirit," said the minsiter wishing success to the conscripts.
