Did Vazgen Khachikyan tender resignation?
Vazgen Khachikyan, head of the State Social Insurance Service at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, has reportedly tendered a resignation.
A1+ tried to verify the information from the RA government but the latter seemed unaware of Khachikyan's decision.
Employees of the press service of the State Social Insurance Service were also taken aback at the news.
They denied the allegation saying it does not correspond to reality. When we asked the press service secretary to connect us with her boss, she said ‘the latter did not show up at work.'
Khachikyan's health reportedly deteriorated after the Control Chamber revealed large-scale abuse and violations during the checkups in the State Social Insurance Service.
On hearing the news, Khachikyan presented his resignation and left for Moscow.
