Davutoglu’s announcement
"Turkey wants to see a peaceful settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict," Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu announced in Strasbourg.
Yesterday Turkey officially took on the presidency of the Council of Europe Ministerial Committee. In response to journalists' question on Turkey's contribution to the settlement of the "frozen" conflicts, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Davutoglu said: "Of course, we will be keeping the "frozen" conflicts in the center of our attention".
According to Radio "Azatutyun", addressing Turkey's prospects for EU integration and the European Commission's latest report according to which Turkey is still not ready for EU integration, Davutoglu stated that Turkey has achieved notable results in many spheres.
