Inmates protest in Hospital for Convicts
A group of inmates has started a protest action in the Hospital for Convicts.
"The protesters are AIDS carriers who demand proper treatment or immediate release," Arsen Babayan, Spokesman for the Justice Ministry's Department of Penitentiaries, told A1+.
"Presently, we are negotiating with the protesters. They should know that the law does not envisage untimely release for prisoners diagnosed with AIDS," he said.
