November 10 is the World Youth Day.

"Sargis Tkhruni" Youth Student Union of Social Democratic Hnchak Party (SDHK) has issued a statement congratulating the Armenian youth on the occasion.

"1. Youth policy in Armenia covers only the "privileged layer." There is not a systemized policy, which would link the youth with their homeland.

2. Exodus of young people from Armenia during the past two decades poses a threat to the national security.

3. A significant part of young people living in Armenia cannot find a job to earn their daily bread.

4. Many university graduates leave Armenia unable to find jobs in the country.

5. Corruption and crony relations in the country directly affect the youth.

6. All programs targeted at supporting young families cover a narrow scope and the vast majority of young families do not feel the support of the state.
