Council of Elders failed to reach consensus on agenda issue
Council of Elders of Kapan yesterday convened a sitting with five-hour delay. Journalists and heads of departments invited to the sitting had to wait for hours before the sitting started.
In the meantime, members of the Council of Elders hurried to and fro with excitement on their face.
"We just have a minor problem. The sitting will start soon," said council member Vladik Arakelyan.
Two hours later, the Council members and the deputy mayor went out of the hall and said the sitting would start at 5:00.
It became clear that the members had disagreement over an agenda issue relating to a lot in one of the city's "prestigious" districts.
The disputable issue was finally removed from the agenda, as it "needed additional discussion."
Totally, 25 issues were included in the agenda.
