Mourning Register opened
The Russian Embassy in Armenia has opened a Mourning Register following the death of former Russian Prime Minister Victor Chernomirdin. Chernomirdin died from a serious illness at the age of 73.
Let us remind that Serzh Sargsyan had stated the following in his letter of condolence to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev sent last night:
"Armenians expressed deep sorrow after learning about the death of adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, special representative of the Russian President on economic cooperation with CIS-member countries, former Russian Prime Minister Victor Chernomirdin.
The memory of the state figure that made a great contribution to the development of Armenian-Russian relations will always stay alive."
