Sardarapat Initiative denied hall in Tekeyan Center
On November 4, "Sardarapat" Movement Initiative was going to hold a seminar in Tekeyan Cultural Center to discuss the need for systemic changes. However, the Centre refused to provide a hall to the Initiative.
"Under the pressure of the government, Tekeyan Centre refused to provide a hall to "Sardarapat" Initiative.
Through their denial, the authorities have proved another time that a totalitarian regime reigns in Armenia where the constitutional rights of citizens and public organizations are violated at every step," reads an Initiative statement issued on November 3.
Tekeyan Center promised to provide clarification within an hour.
