Serzh Sargsyan at the Artists’ Union
Serzh Sargsyan today attended the exhibition opened at the Artists' Union of Armenia on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the President's Prize. The works that were awarded presidential prizes are on display.
The annual President's Prize aims to encourage representatives of the fields of culture and science who have made a considerable contribution to the development of the fields. The authors of the works will have an opportunity to sell their paintings within the framework of the exhibition.
Up until now the President's Prize has been awarded to 161 representatives of the spheres of natural, humanitarian and technical sciences, Information Technologies, physics, medicine, literature, classical music. The financial awards based on the President's decree are granted by "Robert Boghossian and Sons" Foundation.
The exhibition was organized by the "Hayastan" All Armenian Fund, which is also in charge of organizing the award ceremony.
