After the HAK picket, the participants were screaming louder for change of power, while the police officers were trying to silence them.

"They pushed us around and cursed at one of the women in the morning. However, if it weren't for the presence of the CE representatives, they would eat us alive," said HAK member Hrant Avdalyan after the picket.

Picketer, former political prisoner Gevorg Manukyan sees no difference between living at the "Nubarashen" penitentiary and in liberty.

Although Manukyan doesn't have high expectations from the CE, he says he has the right to continue the struggle for his friends in prison.

"I only rely on the people. We are the ones who should solve our issues. But at least they will hear our voices and, most importantly, they will intermediate to release the political prisoners," said picketer Hasmik Hovsepyan.

The picketers moved toward the Matenadaran to participate in the rally.
