Have suicides decreased in army?
"The number of suicides has decreased in the army," said RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan.
At the request of "A1+, the Minister commented on the suicide of private Samvel Khachatryan who was found hanged at a warehouse of a military unit.
The investigation found out that Khachatryan had been humiliated and beaten by a group of servicemen.
"All those guilty have been identified and detained. I can reveal no other detail in order to preserve the secrecy of the investigation. I assure you that suicides have decreased in the army compared with 2009," the Minister said.
