Nalbandian, Vashadze meet in Yerevan
On October 4, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze
Minister Nalbandian attached importance to the regular contacts between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, saying meetings serve as a solid basis for further deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia discussed series of issues of bilateral interest. Reference was made to the process of accomplishment of agreements reached between the Presidents of the two countries, the cooperation in the spheres of economy, transport and energy, development of tourism, organization of business forums, cooperation within international organizations, conduct of consultations between the Foreign Ministries.
The interlocutors also discussed issues related to Georgian Armenians, particularly education and preservation of the Armenian cultural heritage, reports the RA MFA press service.
