Is deputy minister telling a lie?
Recently, Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan announced that the Azerbaijani draft resolution was withdrawn from the agenda of the UN General Assembly.
Armenia's former representative to the UN Alexander Arzumanyan today rejected the news saying it was an absolute lie aimed at concealing rigged elections and human slaughter.
"In a country built on falsehood all structures tell lies and deceive people trying to imitate that they are working," Arzumanyan told A1+
In an interview to Azg daily, Mr. Kirakosyan excluded the postponement of the resolution till the next session of the General Assembly saying.
"If the resolution is not discussed in the given session, it cannot be put to a vote in the next session," said Kirajosyan.
On September 9 Azerbaijan withdrew its proposed draft resolution A/64/L.57 from consideration and voting at the UN General Assembly, requesting to move the relevant agenda item to the agenda of the 65th Session of the GA.The reason for the postponement was the OSCE MG Co-Chairs' field-assessment mission in the territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh due late September.
It is due to mention that the 65th session of the UN GA started on Sept. 14.
There is no mention about the document's withdrawal on the UN's website. /http://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2010/ga10979.doc.htm texacvwum1 w8/
