Two art exhibitions are on the display in the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art (NPAK) featuring works by 21 Armenian and two Iranian painters.

The exhibitions opened on Sept. 2 and will last till October 30.

"We have tried to expose the essence of human being. We wanted to reflect the general atmosphere in Armenia and outside its boundaries," says Sonia Palasanyan, the coordinator of the exhibitions.

In the dark exhibition hall one can see the photo of Artak Bazaryan, who reportedly committed suicide in a military unit two months ago. On the large screen you can read the notes of the author Gagik Ghazare, "Personally knowing Artak, I could not believe the official version of his death. The words of the text came spontaneously. I have tried to present the relations between an individual and authorities as I find our authorities very obscure today. The exhibition presents the conflict inside people."

Two exhibitions by Shake Petrosyan and Vram Hakobyan opened in the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art: ACCEA "NPAK" on Sept. 15, with Shake Petrosyan exhibiting series of graphite photos taken in Venice and Vienna by unknown authors. Hakobyan's photos are traditional landscapes from Armenia and Iran.
