Minsk Group will arrive in Yerevan from the NKR
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will arrive in Armenia on September 9. During the visit, they will have meetings with the RA President and the RA Foreign Minister, as press speaker for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tigran Balayan told "A1+".
The Co-Chairs will visit the NKR on September 8 and as press speaker for the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marsel Petrosyan told "A1+", they will also meet with NKR President Bako Sahakyan.
"They are scheduled to visit the NKR tomorrow, but it is still unclear," said Marsel Petrosyan.
Petrosyan also mentioned that the details are still being cleared up and there are still talks on whether the Co-Chairs will cross the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and pass to the Armenian side or not.
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Bernard Fassier (France) and Robert Bradtke (U.S.) began their regional visit today in Baku.
After a meeting with the Azerbaijani authorities, on September 8 the Co-Chairs plan to hold a monitoring in the Terter-Aghdere sector of Terter region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact-line.
It is also foreseen that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will cross the contact-line and pass to the Armenian side during the monitoring.
