"The authorities of Artsakh are steadfast"
This holiday is important and memorable for all people of Artsakh, as everyone has had his personal contribution to the formation and development of our independent statehood. Of course, we still have a lot to do both in the field of foreign policy and in the socio-economic sphere," said President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan in his congratulatory address on the occasion of Independence Day of the Artsakh Republic.
However, according to him, "one thing is distinct and irreversible: the people and authorities of Artsakh are steadfast and firm in the realization of national goals and will do everything possible for building a radiant future for the Artsakh Republic."

The 2nd of September is also a holiday for our compatriots in Armenia and the Diaspora. Due to their joint efforts the ancient Armenian Artsakh still exists and continues flourishing and prospering," said Bako Sahakyan.
