Vardges Gaspari received numerous injuries
Armenia's former political prisoner Vardges Gaspari has sent letters to the RA Police Kentron Department and Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan
On August 26, bailiffs prevented Vardges Gaspari from entering the courthouse to hear the case on D. Kiramijyan and S. Gevorgyan, claiming that the access was denied till the recess.
"After I demanded the bailiffs to present the corresponding order, they said it was an oral one. Since the prohibition was ungrounded, I tried to get into the hall. However, the bailiffs began elbowing and pushing me off the stairs. Further, the chief bailiff [a Piloyan] dragged me out of the courthouse with his friends," wrote Vardges Gaspari.
The former political prisoner demands to initiate a criminal case to find out on what grounds the bailiffs denied his access to the court and to prosecute the people who illegally evicted him from the courthouse.
Vardges Gaspari states that as a result of bailiffs' violent actions, he received numerous bruises and injuries in the left arm, back and head, and asks for a forensic examination.
