Main version is doubtful
The main version regarding the tragic incident that took place at N military unit of the NKR Defense Army in Martuni is not too accurate for advocate Artur Sakunts.
Let us remind that the incident left 5 soldiers and one officer dead. According to the version, officer Vardges Tadevosyan and the sergeant started hitting one of the soldiers for being asleep and in response, the other on-duty soldier Karo Ayvazyan killed the beaters, shot 3 soldiers who approached him and committed suicide.
A criminal case has been brought up based on Point 1, Part 2 of Article 104 of the RA Penal Code.
Advocate Artur Sakunts believes that Karo Ayvazyan's act of committing murder and suicide raises questions. There was a blue trace on his right kidney and that could emerge only while he was alive.
But he was not the only one with traces of bruises. According to the advocate, soldier Garegin Hovsepyan also had traces of bruises and even had broken fingers.
The advocate would like to know what regiment commander Hovik Danielyan's driver Robert Hovhannisyan was doing there. He is among the murdered. "Robert Hovhannisyan has absolutely nothing to do at the position. He could only appear at the position with the commander and even if he came without the commander, what was the reason?"
Artur Sakunts doesn't believe in the impartiality of the preliminary inquiry because, according to him, there is no information about the eyewitnesses and other details.
