The U.S. has come to grips with Russia's reinforcement

"Turkey showed how far it can go for its national interests," said Levon Shirinyan, adding that the U.S. has already come to grips with the idea of Russia's reinforcement and realizes that Russia is a determining factor in the Caucasus.
The political scientist said Russia's active role in Armenia is linked to the need for security in the region. "If Russia needs peace in the South Caucasus, there has to be peace in the outskirts, in this case the South Caucasus."
The interests of Armenia and those of the nuclear super power, Russia, coincide and Armenia must take advantage of this opportunity," noted the political scientists and underlined that the presence of the Russian military base in Armenia doesn't minimize self-sovereignty in Armenia at all.
"Powerful Germany still relies on the U.S. nuclear weapon," said the political scientist.
According to him, the extension of the timeframe for Russian military base is in the interests of Armenia due to the fact that Russia is now in charge of ensuring Armenia's security.
