In Cordoba, the National Institute for Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (I.N.A.D.I.), Cordoba's municipality, the ARF's Armenian National Committee of South America and the Association of Jewish Organizations Cordoba Chapter have signed an agreement on establishing a joint policy on human rights.
The agreement affirms that the "Armenian and Jewish Genocides" must be taught in schools of Cordoba. Based on the agreement, a commission will be set up to support teachers with the materials.
The commission will also organize seminars, conferences, exhibitions and will carry out other activities to disseminate broader information about the Armenian Genocide and the Jewish Holocaust.
According to Head of the ARF's Armenian National Committee South America Chapter Eduardo Torosian, an agreement will soon be signed with Cordoba State University according to which materials on the Armenian Genocide and the Jewish Holocaust will be mandatory subjects on the exams for 20,000 applicants starting in 2011.
Let us mention that Cordoba State University is the first high-profile educational institution in Argentina and is considered to be the second university with the most number of students.
