President Sargsyan met with Roza Otunbayeva

RA President Serzh Sargsyan is in Astana to participate in the summit of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC). Armenia has an observer status in the EurAsEC.
The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are also attending the summit.

During the meeting reference was made to the formation of a Custom Union, the program of joint measures to overcome the consequences of the global financial economic crisis, and a number of issues related to the organization's activity.
The Armenian President met with President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva on the sidelines of the EurAsEC summit. President Sargsyan congratulated Ms. Otunbayeva on the office and wished her every success.
Kyrgyzstan's newly-appointed president briefed Mr. Sargsyan on the country's political and economic situation, as well as on the steps taken by the interim government on the path to democracy.

Today evening President Serzh Sargsyan will attend an official ceremony dedicated of Capital Day.
The Armenian delegation headed by Serzh Sargsyan will return to Yerevan on July 6.
