Papazyan is still undecided
Member of the HHSh (Armenian National Movement), former RA Foreign Minister Vahan Papazyan was surprised when he found out that he was going to be elected as president of the HHSh and there are already articles in the presses.
The HHSh's assembly is scheduled for July 17 and that is the day when the HHSh will elect a new board and then the president.
Vahan Papazyan still hasn't decided whether he will run for president or not on July 17.
"I haven't discussed the issue with anyone yet," he said.
Head of the HHSh's news service Karen Karapetyan neither denied nor confirmed the news to "A1+". "Anything is possible. But first, we must nominate the members of the board during the assembly and then elect a president during the first session."
Karen Karapetyan also informed that though it is unclear as to who will be nominated, three names are already clear.
According to him, among nominees for president are political prisoners, HHSh member, member of the Land Defenders Union Harutyun Urutyan, president of HHSh's Hrazdan territorial organization Aram Bareghamyan and another member of HHSh board Ashot Manukyan.
Let us remind that vice-president of the HHSh Khachatur Kokobelyan and former president of the HHSh Ararat Zurabyan filed resignations during the HHSh's board session a week ago.
