The government permitted two companies
The RA Government has permitted the extension of "Ararat Group" LTD's deadline for importing products through the "Provisional Import" regime until May 5, 2014.
"Ararat Group" LTD has imported state-of-the-art technologies and has constructed buildings in Artashat city through a 5 million dollar investment with the purpose of producing mineral water and non-alcoholic drinks. The company will make another 22 million dollar investment by the end of the year, reaching a total of 27 million dollars in investments and expects to open up to 220 workplaces. The government took this decision according to the RA legislation, taking into account the need of proportional territorial development and the importance of creating new workplaces in the regions.
The government has decided to extend the deadline for paying VAT calculated by customs bodies for certain products exceeding 300 million drams from 2010 July 1 to 2010 September 30 to 2013 July 1 through the "SPAYKA" LTD investment project. The company, which is involved in transferring cargo to the CIS and European countries, envisages exporting fresh fruits from Armenia to the mentioned directions. The project envisages an 11 million dollar investment and the creation of 150 new workplaces.
Change
The government has changed one of its previous resolutions, which proposes considering identification documents of those applying for refuge as a certificate confirming the applicant's identity. As for refugees, the government has decided to consider the traveler's document as a document for identification.
